Our newest team member shares some insight on his first experiences working at nFuse.
Just after finishing college, the author was eager to begin his first professional role. After an internship at Gluo (Xplore Group), he connected with nFuse and was impressed by their services. Once hired, the team surprised him with a Welcome Package containing essential equipment and other items.
When the dust settled
The initial days involved setting up his laptop and learning about customers, technologies, projects and their infrastructures. As his knowledge expanded, so did the complexity of the challenges he encountered. He describes each day as filled with new and unique challenges, which made every day more exciting than the one before.
24/7 on call
Over the following weeks, nFuse assigned progressively more demanding tasks to test his capabilities. While initially overwhelming, he managed the stress effectively. Eventually, he was deemed ready for his first on-call shift supporting the company's 24/7 operations. The shift proved manageable thanks to the preparation he had received.
The author concludes positively about his experience, highlighting an experienced team to work with on a daily basis, loads of freedom and new challenges to face every day.
